First-order field guide

What happens after you open a product link.

OOPBUY describes itself as a service for purchasing from Chinese marketplaces, warehousing goods and shipping them internationally. The process is easier to manage when you know which decision belongs to each stage.

A buying agent changes one purchase into two connected journeys. The first runs from a Chinese seller to a warehouse. The second runs from that warehouse to you. Between them sits the part that gives the model its value: the opportunity to see what arrived, combine products and choose an international route before the parcel leaves China.

01 · Define the middleman

OOPBUY is the buyer, warehouse and shipping interface

OOPBUY's homepage positions the service around Taobao, 1688 and Weidian. Its official Google Play description says the app offers purchasing, warehousing and shipping services with no service fee. It also promotes order management, HD photos, one-click sharing, real-time logistics tracking and product-weight information for early haul estimates.

In practical terms, you choose the marketplace item and option; OOPBUY places or manages the domestic purchase; the seller sends it to the warehouse; the warehouse records and photographs it; and you later decide how to combine and ship stored items internationally. OOPBUY does not manufacture the goods. Seller accuracy, marketplace availability, warehouse handling and carrier performance are different parts of one order.

02 · Product discovery

Start with the live listing, not the spreadsheet cell

A finds site or spreadsheet is useful because it organizes marketplace links into English-friendly categories. It shortens discovery; it does not freeze the listing. Before paying, open the current product page and compare the title, seller, images, option, color, size, quantity, price and domestic shipping information.

Pay special attention to option structure. Marketplace pages often combine several models, colors and bundles under one URL. Translation may turn a precise Chinese option into a short English phrase that looks clearer than it is. Match the option image and text together. If a listing no longer shows the expected choice, do not use an order note to create a variant the seller is not offering.

Save the product option you relied on. A screenshot is not proof of quality, but it gives you a dated reference if the listing changes before warehouse arrival. It also makes the later QC review much more objective: you can compare the photographed item with a record instead of memory.

One price is not the full order. The seller's merchandise price, domestic delivery to the warehouse and later international freight are separate cost layers.

03 · Domestic purchase

Payment starts the warehouse journey, not home delivery

After you confirm the listing and pay through the buying-agent interface, the order moves into purchasing. The seller still has to accept or fulfill the order and send it domestically. An item marked purchased is therefore not the same as an item stored in the warehouse.

Watch the order status for seller-side problems: unavailable stock, a changed price, an option question or delayed domestic dispatch. Limited releases and made-to-order items deserve extra caution because ordinary processing expectations may not fit the seller's timeline. If the platform asks for a decision, read the message rather than assuming silence means progress.

A useful personal timeline separates “paid,” “purchased,” “seller shipped,” “warehouse signed” and “stocked.” Those labels describe different handoffs. If a delay occurs, the timestamps show whether the seller has not dispatched, domestic delivery is still moving or the warehouse has received the carton but not completed processing. That distinction produces a better support request than saying only that the whole order is slow.

OOPBUY's official Returns and Refunds notice describes the platform's purchasing and after-sales process, but the available action can still depend on seller support, product type, warehouse status and timing. Check the current order controls rather than treating a general guide as a guarantee for every marketplace seller.

04 · Receiving, inspection and storage

The warehouse is where the order becomes visible

OOPBUY's Beginner's Guide says that after the warehouse signs for delivery, the goods are quality-inspected and stored. Its Platform Guarantee page advertises 100% quality inspection and 90 days of free storage. Current product pages may show estimated weight, estimated dimensions and QC-photo sections.

Treat warehouse receipt as a checkpoint, not a reason to stop paying attention. Compare the recorded model, color, quantity, size evidence and visible condition with the saved order. Look for obvious defects, wrong variants, missing accessories and packaging damage. When fit matters, a measurement photo is more useful than a size tag alone.

Photos document only what is visible in the frames. They cannot prove durability, internal construction, material composition, electronic lifespan or fit on your body. If a missing angle or measurement would change your decision, ask for that specific evidence while the item is still in the warehouse.

Record

Keep the selected option, quantity and seller evidence.

2

Compare

Match identity, size and visible condition at warehouse receipt.

3

Act

Use current after-sales controls before their window closes.

The advertised storage period is not the same as a return period. An item may be stored for weeks even though a seller-level return or exchange must be requested much sooner. Review arrivals as they enter storage instead of waiting for the last item in a large haul.

05 · Consolidation and shipping

You choose a parcel after you approve the products

Once the items are acceptable, you can decide what to ship together. Consolidation is useful because several domestic orders can share one international parcel, but the best combination depends on weight, dimensions, route limits, item sensitivity and destination.

The official OOPBUY Shipping Estimation page asks for destination country, weight in grams, and length, width and height in centimeters. Enter realistic values. A compact clothing parcel and a carton containing shoe boxes can weigh the same while creating very different chargeable volume.

Decide which original packaging to keep. Removing a large retail box can reduce volume, but protection and collector value may change. Reinforcement, cushioning or waterproofing can add weight and space while reducing a different risk. There is no universal “remove all boxes” rule; match the packing choice to the product.

Finally, compare the routes currently eligible for the destination and contents. Batteries, liquids, electronics and other categories may not be accepted by every line. Delivery estimates can be useful planning ranges, but weather, customs, peak periods and carrier handoffs are not controlled by a product spreadsheet.

06 · Dispatch, tracking and records

Keep the parcel evidence until delivery is complete

Before payment, confirm the address, measured parcel, contents, packing choices, declared information, route and current total. After dispatch, keep the parcel number, tracking record and any warehouse photos. The official app promotes real-time logistics tracking, but scan frequency can still vary across carriers and borders.

Inspect the parcel after delivery and document significant damage before discarding the packaging. If something is missing or damaged, use the current support and protection process with specific evidence. A dated photo, recorded parcel weight and clear description are more actionable than a general complaint.

  • Open the current listing and select the exact variant.
  • Save the option and price evidence used at checkout.
  • Separate seller price, domestic freight and international freight.
  • Follow purchasing and domestic-shipping status.
  • Review warehouse arrivals as soon as they are stocked.
  • Use QC photos for visible checks without overclaiming.
  • Do not confuse free storage with a return window.
  • Estimate with destination, weight and real dimensions.
  • Choose packing and routes for the actual contents.
  • Keep parcel records until the order is resolved.
